The "Texas Weekend Getaway 2026 Sweepstakes" ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the state of Texas, United States, who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Spoetzl Brewery, Inc. dba K. Spoetzl Distillery ("Sponsor"), Flavor Group, LLC ("Administrator") and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers (collectively the "Employees"), the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees, and Sponsor's licensed alcoholic beverage retailers, wholesalers, and distributors are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions which are final and binding in all matters related to this Sweepstake. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements as set forth herein.
Sweepstakes begins at 10:00 AM Pacific Time ("PT") on June 10th, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PT on August 7th, 2026 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstake.
VIA INSTAGRAM: During the Sweepstakes Period, the Shiner Texas Spirits Instagram account will post a Sweepstakes call-to-action Post ("Instagram Post"). You must be a registered user of Instagram, follow @ShinerSpirits, @ShinerBeer, and @ShinerHQ and "like" the Sweepstakes call-to-action Post, in order to enter the sweepstakes on Instagram. You may only use one (1) Instagram account ID to enter. You must also enter your name, email address, age and location at this page. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same Instagram account to submit an Entry. The content in the Entries will not be judged. Entry must be manually key-stroked and manually entered by the individual entrant; automated and/or repetitive electronic submission of Entries (including but not limited to Entries made using a script, macro, bot or sweepstakes service) will be disqualified and transmissions from these or related IP addresses may be blocked. All Entries become the property of the Sponsor upon submission and will not be acknowledged or returned.
VIA QR CODE (ON-PREMISE): During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible entrants may also enter by scanning a QR code available at participating on-premise locations. Scanning the QR code will direct entrants to the official Sweepstakes landing page. To constitute a complete entry via QR code, entrants must complete all of the following steps: (i) be a registered user of Instagram; (ii) follow @ShinerSpirits, @ShinerBeer, and @ShinerHQ on Instagram; (iii) "like" the Sweepstakes call-to-action Post on Instagram; and (iv) enter your name, email address, age and location at this page. Participation via QR code does not waive or replace any of the Instagram entry requirements. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
Limit one (1) Entry per person regardless of entry method. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant grants Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, assignable, transferable, unqualified, unrestricted, royalty-free license and the right to edit, modify, publish, use, reuse, not use, distribute, publicly display, copy and otherwise exploit the Entry or any part thereof for any lawful purposes whatsoever throughout the world in perpetuity without further permission, notification, consideration, or payment to the entrant, except where prohibited by law.
Once an Entry is entered into the Sweepstakes, any such posting will be deemed made at the direction of the entrant within the meaning of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and the Communications Decency Act. EACH ENTRANT REPRESENTS, UNDERSTANDS AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE/SHE WILL NOT BE PAID FOR OR RECEIVE ANY FORM OF COMPENSATION OR ROYALTY (OTHER THAN THE PRIZE STATED HEREIN IF SELECTED AS A PRIZE WINNER) IN EXCHANGE FOR GRANTING SPONSOR THE NON-EXCLUSIVE LICENSE RIGHTS OR FOR ANY SUBSEQUENT USE OF SUCH SUBMISSION BY SPONSOR.
One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about August 10th, 2026 from among all eligible Entries received by Sponsor, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
Prize will be awarded provided it is properly claimed. One (1) potential winner will be contacted by Sponsor or its agents via email and will be asked to provide additional information for verification of eligibility and mailing address for prize fulfillment. The potential winner will be required to respond to the notification within twenty-four (24) hours indicating whether he/she can accept the prize. The potential winner will be required to complete, sign, and return: (i) a completed IRS Form W-9 and a copy of their government-issued photo identification within forty-eight (48) hours of prize acceptance; and (ii) a fully executed and notarized Verification Form confirming eligibility within seven (7) business days of prize acceptance. Failure to provide any of the foregoing documents within the required timeframes will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate potential winner.
Grand Prize (1 total): (2) Night stay for (2) guests at Lake Austin Spa Resort in Austin, TX. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Grand Prize is $2,500.00. Winner is not entitled to any surplus between the actual retail value of prize and stated ARV. Prize is non-transferable and no cash equivalent or substitution of prize is offered, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. ALCOHOL IS NOT INCLUDED AS PART OF ANY PRIZE. Sponsor will arrange and book the two-night hotel accommodations at Lake Austin Spa Resort directly on behalf of the winner. Transportation, meals, gratuities, and all other expenses not specified herein are solely the winner's responsibility. Prize is subject to availability, blackout dates, and Lake Austin Spa Resort's standard terms and conditions. Prize must be redeemed and travel completed within twelve (12) months of winner verification, unless otherwise determined by Sponsor. The prize winners will be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes.
Spoetzl Brewery, Inc. and each of their affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies (collectively the "Released Parties") are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, unintelligible, returned or undelivered Entries, email, or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, ISP, or other connections availability, miscommunications, failed computer or network hardware or software, or technical failure, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed or misdirected transmissions or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network. Sponsor is not responsible for any failure to successfully scan a QR code due to device incompatibility, damaged, defaced, or unreadable QR codes, poor lighting conditions, on-premise connectivity issues, or any other technical or environmental factors beyond Sponsor's control. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this Sweepstakes, or act in violation of the Official Rules, will be disqualified. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR OTHER DAMAGES; AS A RESULT, THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Entrants agree that the Released Parties will have no liability whatsoever for, and are released and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or in any Sweepstakes-related activity.
By acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, winners grant permission for Released Parties to use his/her name, submitted biography, photographs, statements, voice and/or likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and Sweepstakes purposes without further compensation, at any times or time, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, perpetually and worldwide and on the Internet without notice or review or approval, including a winner list, unless prohibited by law.
Any and all disputes, claim, or controversy arising out of or related to the Sweepstakes must be brought before binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association before a single arbitrator located in San Antonio, Texas. ARBITRATION MEANS THAT YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JUDGE OR JURY IN COURT PROCEEDINGS AND YOUR GROUNDS TO APPEAL ARE LIMITED. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final, binding, and enforceable by any court with jurisdiction over the parties. EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED, YOU AND SPONSOR AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING DISPUTES AGAINST THE OTHER PARTY ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by, and construed exclusively in accordance with, the laws of the State of Texas without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of the Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action (to the extent permitted by law) and exclusively by the appropriate court located in San Antonio, Texas.

If any provision of these Official Rules is or becomes illegal, invalid, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of these Official Rules.
